| Meredith Belloni |
Meredith Belloni, Jiminy Cricket, is a seventh-grader
at Our Lady of Fatima School, where she is in her
third year of chorus. Meredith was honored to
receive the highest reading GPA in her class for the
2008-2009 school year. Meredith was originally cast
as Jiminy Cricket in Firelight's production of
Pinocchio this summer. In the spring, Meredith
joined the cast of Firelight's Alice in Wonderland in
roles of the doorknob, flower, card, mother oyster
and parrot showing her versatility. She got an early
start with Firelight in 2005 in their production of
Cinderella, as Cinderella. Meredith participated in
St. Thomas More's 2008 summer musical School of
Rock and UL Lafayette Academic Enrichment
Program's 2006 production of Laffin' School
Reunion. In 2006, Meredith was crowned Little Miss
Lafayette. Off stage Meredith enjoys curling up with
a great book and watching cartoons. She hopes to
enjoy many more roles on the Firelight stage and is
grateful for the opportunities she has been given.
